Bristol is a half-mile concrete bowl that sounds like a jet engine in a parking garage. The Night Race is the one people fly in for — Saturday lights, bumper tags, and a crowd that never sits down. Spring used to be the same show on a different afternoon; from 2021 through 2023 that date ran on dirt, then Cup poured the concrete back in for 2024. Ty Gibbs took the 2026 Food City 500 in overtime. The 2026 Bass Pro Shops Night Race is CHECKERED — Joey Logano won it, Chase race 3 of 10. The Chase has since gone through Kansas and Las Vegas and next is Charlotte oval.
